Arrive in Hanoi, Vietnam’s vibrant capital, and meet your local guide and driver for a transfer to your hotel. Relax and recharge, then savor a warm welcome dinner at a local restaurant, tasting authentic Vietnamese flavors.

Explore Hanoi’s rich history, starting at the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the Mausoleum, stilt house, Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh Museum, and the iconic One Pillar Pagoda. Visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university dedicated to Confucius. After lunch, tour the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, showcasing the country’s 54 ethnic groups, and Hoa Lo Prison, the “Hanoi Hilton” where John McCain was held. Enjoy a 1-hour cyclo ride through the French-inspired Old Quarter, browsing colorful markets and boutiques. Conclude with a traditional Water Puppet Show after dinner.

Explore Vung Dang–Cong Dam for swimming, kayaking, or relaxing on a white-sand beach. Return to the cruise for a dip in the mineral seawater pool, a spa session, or dinner.
