Travelers planning a trip to Phu Quoc should be aware of a new entry requirement that takes effect from June 1, 2026.
Under the latest regulations issued by Vietnam’s immigration authorities, all international passengers arriving at Phu Quoc International Airport are required to submit their arrival information online before entering Vietnam.
The new digital process aims to simplify immigration procedures, reduce waiting times, and create a smoother arrival experience for visitors to Vietnam’s island paradise.
Who Needs to Complete the Registration?
The requirement applies to all foreign travelers entering Vietnam through Phu Quoc International Airport.
To avoid delays upon arrival, visitors are encouraged to complete the online declaration before their flight.
When Can You Submit Your Information?
Travelers can complete the registration at any time within three days prior to departure.

The online declaration can be completed through the official immigration portal:
https://prearrival.immigration.gov.vn
During the registration process, travelers will be asked to provide:
- Passport information
- Flight details
- Accommodation information in Vietnam
- Contact email address
Visitors entering Phu Quoc under the island’s special visa exemption program should select “Phu Quoc Visa Exemption” under the visa category section.
Keep Your Confirmation QR Code
Once your submission has been approved, the system will generate a unique QR code.
Travelers should save or screenshot this QR code and keep it accessible throughout their journey, as immigration officers may request it upon arrival.

- Passport valid for at least six months
- Flight itinerary
- Hotel or accommodation address
