Itinerary

Arrive at Noi Bai Airport, where your guide and driver welcome you and transfer you to a hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. After a brief rest, embark on a walking tour, savoring street foods like banh cuon, bun rieu cua, and egg coffee at a hidden café overlooking Hoan Kiem Lake. Visit Dong Xuan Market to explore local ingredients, immersing in Hanoi’s vibrant weekend life. Overnight in Hanoi.

Begin at 8:30 AM with coffee on Phung Hung Street, watching trains pass by. Visit the Temple of Literature, a Confucian sanctuary, followed by Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hanoi’s oldest Buddhist site on West Lake. After lunch, explore the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the Mausoleum (exterior), stilt house, and One Pillar Pagoda. Tour Hoa Lo Prison Museum, then enjoy a 1-hour cyclo ride through the Old Quarter. Conclude with a traditional Water Puppet Show. Overnight in Hanoi.

Depart at 8:00 AM for Ninh Binh. Row through Trang An’s limestone caves and valleys, a UNESCO site with over 600 flora and 200 fauna species. After lunch, visit Hoa Lu, the 10th-century ancient capital, with King Dinh and Le temples. Climb 500 steps to Hang Mua’s peak for panoramic Tam Coc views. Arrive in Lao Cai at 6:00 AM and transfer to Sapa. After breakfast, visit Silver Waterfall and drive to Heaven Gate at Tram Ton Pass (2,047m), Vietnam’s highest pass, for stunning Fansipan Mountain views.
